Welcome back! It's time for another installment of 30 Before 30. 30 lessons, experiences, and anything else that I've discovered in my almost 30 years of life.
Today on 30 Before 30....
#7. Starting my own business has truly changed my life. It takes so much to run your own business. Blood, sweat, and tears...minus the blood. I’m naturally a reserved and slightly nervous person and running My Venus Soul has required me to put myself right under a spotlight and a microscope. Being perceived is weird but this is what I asked for, so I have to continue to adapt and grow. There have been a number of times that I’ve wanted to give up, but something always pulls me right back in. I know in my heart that I’m doing what I’m meant to do and that’s what keeps me going. It’s hard work and a lot of it is unpaid but that hard work will one day pay off, I know it.
#8. This isn’t a lesson or experience but it is a random fact about me. Number eight has been my favorite number since I was in elementary school. It's such a pretty number.
#9. One of my favorite qualities about myself has always been my ability to mind my own fucking business. Minding my own business is a skill and I have mastered it. I stay out of the mix, out of drama, and I’m happy about that. If I want drama, then I’ll watch anime or Jerry Springer. I live by this both on and offline. Protecting my peace is always top priority.
